New York is generally one of the last place you’d think of when you contemplate powerful winds and devastating storms. But, according to some scientists, our area is coming due for a massive hurricane that could leave much of the area flooded, and cause mass evacuations!

After seeing the horrors wrought upon post-Katrina New Orleans, it is enough to scare the crap out of me. Can you imagine our town in a similar situation?
