I’m Cuckoo for Cocoa Bar

Cocoabar1.jpg

Via Daily Candy comes some news which is going to make me – and I assume quite a few of you – very happy: The Park Slope slice of happiness known as Cocoa Bar is opening a branch on the Lower East Side. Located at 21 Clinton St. (that’s between Houston and Stanton), it seats 30 and will provide that special mix of chocolatey and winey goodness I recall so fondly from my brief encounter with the Slope location late last year.
The place is stocked with chocolate this, chocolate that (I recall a chocolate lava cake that had me melting myself) and truffles of every kind imaginable. Move over, Bald Guy.

Wine and chocolate? I’m not tasting the love.

    (Coffee and chocolate definitely!)

This is very exciting. I love Cocoa Bar, but I haven’t been there much due to the long train ride from Astoria to Park Slope. I’ll be there much more often now. Does the LES location also have a courtyard?
