I just spoke to my friend who works at a midtown gallery, lives in Queens, and has been trying to go home now since 6pm. F, V, and R service is suspended according to the MTA post on its website about 30 minutes ago.

What is it with this rain always affecting the outdoor tracks? And why is the Q/N not affected which also goes above ground? This must be rather frustrating for a lot of Queens residents.

My friend has decided to go shopping until further notice.
