I wish my camera phone could record more than just a blurry image. I wish it could capture even 1% of the awesomeness of The Sounds‘ sold-out show at Irving Plaza tonight.

I had never heard of The Sounds before a few weeks ago, but now I love them like crazy. Their sexy lead singer might be my new favorite rock star. She’s amazing. And the band has lots of cute boys, including one on keyboard (who wore a shirt and tie during most of the show, and then came out all sweaty and shirtless for the encore…yum.). Oh, and they’re from Sweden, which somehow makes me love them even more. It was the kind of show where you have to dance, and then after an hour or so you hurt from dancing so hard, but you still can’t stop.

I know it’s only April, but I have a feeling this is going to be my favorite rock show of the year.
