Since I have long wished to live in a city with public transportation I don’t want to complain, BUT would it be too much to ask to not have the A, C, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 all not running/barely running/running local at once all weekend?

And maybe I’m missing something but how can both the 2/3 not run due to “track construction” but the 5 train can run on the very same track? Things that make you go huh. Oh well.

Despite the aggravation of going anywhere this weekend, the conductor on the way home this evening made my night with his repeated announcement. Upon pulling into an express stop, “Don’t bother switching to express. Due to construction all trains are running local from Chambers St. to 180th. At half speed. All weekend. Nobody is getting anywhere quickly.”

I appreciated the honesty.
