Traffic reporter on 1010-WINS (is it Pet Torry?) makes bad traffic fun. Some of the quotes that we have heard so far:

“No delays reported on … but I don’t believe that!”

“Can it get worse? Of course it can!”

“Major Degan is a major mess.”

“Right lane is jammed because of the accident and left lane is jammed because people are stopping by to see it.”

Hack we find ourselves switching to 1010 WINS even if we don’t really need to know traffic report :). BTW 1010 WINS has probably the best no-fuss website with the weather, news and traffic on front page. And they are NYC’s best news radio, IMO.
