Man plunges to his death from Empire State Building
An unidentified man apparently committed suicide on Friday by jumping from the 86th floor observation deck of the Empire State Building after scaling the tall, spiked security fence that is supposed to prevent such acts. His body was found on the 6th floor landing.
Once again proving that no many how many barriers you put in someone’s way, if they are determined enough, there is no stopping them.
I don’t mean to detract from the tragedy of any loss of human life – it’s a tragedy for his family and friends, assuming he had any of either, and my heart goes out to them – but I still firmly believe that suicide is one of the greatest acts of cowardice a person can commit.
You mean suicide is one of the greatest acts of cowardice a person can commit, aside from blogging.
Wow! Typing and putting your friends and family through the ultimate suffering. Those things are really similar. Perspective man. Perspective will set you free.
You said it yourself…you dont even know if he had friends or family…maybe his friends robbed him and family turned his back on him..do i know NO and neither do you … there are a million different scenarios that we are not aware of…also i think that its takes alot to actually take your own life…most people beg for their lives and here we have someone who wants out so bad they are willing to fall a 1000 ft to get there…i think its easy for people like you to describe people who commit suicides as cowards when you have no idea of what they are going through or what their motives…they may be confused and they maybe alot of things but i wouldnt say cowardice is one of them…and you said the friends and family are put through “the ultimate suffering” well sounds to me like maybe the person who took their own life may be the one who had “the ultimate suffering” think twice type once
HOW DEAR U! HOW NAIVE OF U! THIS ‘COWARD’ HAPPENED TO BE A FRIEND OF MINE. U THINK U KNOW BUT U HAVE NO FUCKING IDEA!
