run! ruuuuuuuuuuuun!
I swear I’m leaving Brooklyn for a whole dinner right now, but I was reminded of the greatness of running in Prospect Park this morning when I was, well, running in Prospect Park. There’s a 3.5 mile path that starts at Grand Army Plaza right near the 2/3 stop, and it loops around the Long Meadow and down by the lake, coming up to the Concert Grove and ending with a ninety degree climb that makes it hard to think about and type at the same time. It’s open to cars for, like, four hours a day during rush hour, and other than that it’s just a running and bike path. Just don’t be getting in the way of the bikers, because they’ll be yelling “BIKE PATH” when they’re coming up behind you because they’re totally in the Tour de France.
hey! sometimes i’m one of those bikers! move it over!
