About 2:30 this afternoon, a large crane collapsed into a few buildings on 51^st Street between 1^st and 2^nd Avenues. Right now, New York 1 seems to be the only channel that’s covering the news, and they are getting their information from firefighters and people that are calling from the scene.What they are reporting at this time is that 2 people have died from the accident and a number of others are trapped.
