Winter Wonderland — Short-Lived

It was pretty yesterday; a very light dusting of snow putting a delicate covering over NYC.
Short-lived as it was, it provides us today with the inevitable melted mess that is NYC in the rain after the snow. But it’s always better when the temp goes up and the snow melts. Sure, it’s a slushy slop, but when the temp falls, we have a dangerous sheet of ice and the bone-breaking sidewalk falls and roadside collisions to go with it. The problem is, that when it freezes over tonight, we have a treacherous commute home

We really can’t complain because this has been a mild winter so far.
