Turkish Delight

My fiance and I have decided on Turkey as our honeymoon destination, a place with both beautiful beaches and ancient ruins. To get in the mood for our travel planning, we had dinner at Pasha, a celebrated Turkish restaurant.
Located on the Upper West Side, this restaurant serves the pre-theater crowd and is less expensive than many surrounding establishments. They offer a pre-theater pre-fixe menu (before 7) that’s $23 for 3 courses. The outside is pretty non-descript, but the interior shows another world. Deep reds, lush carpets, tiled art - the place is gorgeous. And the menu is delicious! Just thinking about it makes me hungry. They serve kebabs, meaty dishes, with plently of vegetarian options as well. (Though most involve cheese, so vegans might have a problem). I had this fried cheese appetizer that was amazing, as was my main dish of eggplant casserole.
The attentive staff recommended a tasty red wine for me and regularly refilled my fiance’sTurkish coffee (a bit strong for my taste). It was a wonderful dining experience. Hopefully, an indication of the delicious meals we’ll eat on our upcoming trip!

Good choice. Take a peek at Greece if you can.
