Falling asleep on stranger’s shoulders

There is no greater comfort afforded to the straphanger than the stranger who lets you sleep on their shoulders. Not figuratively people, literally.

This morning I fell asleep on the train and my head was hanging loose and floating whichever way as if I was riding the space shuttle into zero-gravity. The people seated besides me both moved away quite a bit and I realized that people were staring at me funny. I knew I was guilty. I knew I had become *that* guy.

But wouldn’t it be nice if one of those strangers just said “aww hell with it, let me just let him sleep. look at him being so peaceful and comfortable on my shoulders.” It’s a compliment people! If I fall asleep on you, that means I think you’re good enough to provide comfort to your fellow man.

I say you give your shoulder up…but do it discerningly - there are a ton of weirdos out there.

Not to mention they might drool on you, too.

    Drool is like friend-juice
