A Good Restaurant

I just checked out a good restaurant - called Good Restaurant. Located in the West Village, this establishment is close to a number of subway lines (and a number of other good restaurants).

I was meeting a former theater director of mine - who I hadn’t seen in 10 years, along with a high school friend who had also acted with him. He chose the place and I was definitely happy with it. I like the clean, modern decor and the tables outside (not highly useful in this weather, but I’m sure will be nice in Spring). The menu options were a bit limited for me, being both vegetarian and allergic to nuts, but I ordered a Rigatoni and ricotta dish that was delicious (though also a bit pricey). We enjoyed our dinner while chatting about theater, our jobs, and our lives. It was good company, good conversation, and a good restaurant.

I live across the street from Good. There are SOOOO many better eateries nearby and with better prices. I think the place would be more aptly named "Bland."
