Lunch at Tiffany’s

Wall Street has just become home to a beloved store: Tiffany. Marketed as “the heart of Wall Street”, this store now resides right near the Stock Exchange, yet another upscale shopping addition to the Financial District.

At lunch, I went to investigate the grand opening of the store. Sad to find that I had missed the blue and white cookies served earlier, I still braved the crowds to see the sparkling displays. The store’s interior had glass walls with floating crystal designs among the displays. While I doubted I could afford anything in this shop, it was still fun to look. As I hummed that line about Christmas tree trimmings from Santa Baby, I wondered what other elite establishments will be coming to this area.

Trust me, you can afford stuff at Tiffany. They have silver bracelets and other silver items for under $100. Just don’t venture into the diamond area. That’s where they getcha.
