That said, I too hit up Starbucks for a bio-stop. When visiting New York I usually pick up a coffee or two a day and feel like I've done my part if I also stop in to use the facilities througout the day without another purchase. Contrary to a prior poster, most Starbucks' restrooms I'be been in are clean. Occasionally I've been in one that gives me the heebie jeebs. Certainly Manhattan lacks in public restrooms. Even at theaters it's hard to wait in line and still be on time for the second scene. Let alone wandering about town during the day. I'm not recommending Porta-Potties like in Paris.
