It’s been a long week! When some work friends asked me out for a happy hour drink, I gladly joined them. We went to Pound & Pence, just a few blocks from our work in the Financial District.

This English pub is popular, despite its rather hidden entrance. I liked it right away since it’s full of little nooks and crannies of tables, all in an old-fashioned style. We practically had our own private room. We vented about work, while munching on the delicious cheese fries and drinking Ripe Berry martinis ($8). It was a fun place and we all agreed to do it again soon.
