Vanishing Views
New York is changing every day. New buldings are going up, old buildings are coming down. Keeping in spirit with the fierce individualism of the city, the buildings, which are all developed by different companies, all look completely different from their neighbors. That’s just how it goes here. The landscape is changing, as is the demographic make up of the city. No matter how you feel about the change, it is undeniable that it’s happening, and will continue to happen.
A new documentary photography project, called Vanishing Views, is looking for participants to document the changing views and landscapes of New York City. Send your photos and ideas to newyorkviews@gmail.com .
