Garden Brunch

The first place I ever went out to brunch in Astoria was Igloo. Now it’s one of my standard spots for weekend brunch. Craving their delicious cinnamon and sugar french toast, I decided it was definitely the place for today.

Igloo’s a perfect brunch spot for a few reasons. There’s plenty of room, so you don’t usually have to wait for a seat and can go with larger groups. The food is delicious - I’m a fan of the omeletes and the smoothies, in particular. And they have an adorable courtyard in the back. It was a bit hot out there today, but normally it’s a perfectly place for a leisurely first meal.

Love Igloo’s pancakes, too! And that they offer real maple syrup in addition to the conventional corn syrupy stuff. Igloo’s back area is quite nice - what a great day to have brunch there!

I enjoy your blog, keep up the good work!
