When I traveled to Borneo several years ago, my favorite meal became these exceptional smoothie-type drinks, and my flavor of choice was avocado. These delicious avocado smoothies were served all over in restaurants and street carts, often with chocolate. Ever since I returned from that trip, I have searched the city for such smoothies without success. Until today.

While rushing around on my lunch break in the Financial District, I passed a bunch of food trucks. I thought I’d grab a quick bubble milk tea from a juice truck and was shocked to see that on their menu they listed…avocado smoothies! So exciting! I had one and it was very tasty. The juice truck was located right across the street from Zuccotti Park. I have never come across another place serving them. Has anyone else?
