I had no idea that he was so ill. I saw him just a couple of weeks ago on GMA giving a review of the summer line-up of movies. He was the penultimate authority on movie viewing. I trusted his opinion unequivocally. Joel was such a routine fixture on GMA, that I felt as though he was a good and trusted friend. God bless his wife and son. How sad to leave a life somewhat unfinished. Joel will be sadly missed. What a brave, courageous soul. I am very sad to hear of Joel Siegel’s passing. I had no idea that he was so ill.
