The Answer to NYC’s Umbrella Issues?

products_killer.jpgIt’s not available in the US yet, but doesn’t this look like the perfect New York City umbrella? Every time a few drops fall from the sky and the wind kicks up the streets are littered with cheap, shoddy umbrellas that get turned inside out. Whenever I see them I think about the girl who made a dress from the shed umbrella “pelts” (see it here), but this aerodynamic shape resists turning inside out. PLUS the ends of the ribs are covered with “eye-savers” so I wouldn’t have to worry about getting poked in the face by wayward umbrellas anymore. I’m in love. I wish I had one for the storm that’s brewing for tomorrow.
