I headed out this morning at around 4:45 am to LaGuardia Airport. I hereby declare it the best driving time on both the Long Island Expressway & Grand Central Parkway. These two highways see the least amount of traffic at the above given time based on my vast driving experiences.

I’ve driven at 3 am, 2 am, 1 am and midnight. Obviously I have driven at all times of the day as well, and it seems that the least amount of traffic; determined by how many times one has to step on the brakes, is at 4:45 in the effing morning.
