Who’s Ecoagents? Well, to put it simply, they are a non-profit organization created to defend and protect the Amazon, its people, and ancient cultures from damage, pollution and further destruction. They’ve also started projects here to help us New Yorkers adopt an Eco lifestyle. They’ve been around since 1999 and I joined the team in 2005.

You can read more about them here.
OK. Back to the event…

As Ecoagents, our goal is to protect the Amazon Rainforest by educating the aboriginal tribes about their rights & benefits. The tribes of the Amazon are the key to its survival. With this knowledge the tribes do not sign their land away and the Amazon Rainforest is preserved for the future of mankind.

We are extremely excited to announce that all proceeds from this March 15th Ecoagents Rainforest Benefit will go to open the 1st Institute of Tribal Rights in the Amazon Rainforest!
The Institute of Tribal Rights will be an educational hub and a pivotal point for furthering the preservation of the Amazon, creating a voice for the indigenous people and as well establishing global presence.

Hope to see you there. I’ll be the happy face greeting everyone at the door!

Is this a rather new feeling - the one where you feel environ*mentally* friendly? :D

This reminds me of an event that the fictional Gotham City would hold and Poison Ivy would attempt to sabotage and then Batman would eventually save the day, but not before destroying every precious piece of eco-friendly venue.

Who wants to reality when you can think instead of the Batman!
