Slow news day?

britney_shears.jpgSince I was up early this morning, I managed to get myself over to my favorite bagel shop for a sesame with cream cheese, orange juice, and a coffee. As I was waiting on line with others like me, I noticed something quite disturbing…both the Daily News and the Post had the same front page story. That happens all the time, but what made it really disturbing was that, for both, it was the only thing on the front page, and it really isn’t news that affects people’s lives.

Forget the water main break in Corona, Queens. Never mind the fact that 7 train riders organized a protest rally because they were upset about the disruption of service over the next few weekends. Don’t even worry about the armed subway robber on the D and 6 lines. No, those stories pale in comparison to Britney shaving it all off. Who’s reading this crap?

In a nice move, the salon where she shaved it off may auction the hair off for charity.
