“The New York of the West”

sf-map.gifIf you are anything like me, you love San Francisco, and feel that its diverse neighborhood feel and the beautiful architecture make the city a true marvel; sort of the west-coast equivalent of the Big Apple. And thanks to a post by Martin over at SF Metroblogging, if you are a transplant or a frequent commuter between the two metropoleis, you now know where to go to feel at home…

Martin points out that Overstated has created a neighborhood translator. For instance, if you call TriBeCa home, then SoMa in SF is the place for you. If Park Slope is your haven, then head over to Russian Hill to feel at home. It is a handy tool, and one that does a good job of further connecting these two great cities.
