Hey, didn’t we go to Grammar School together??

Has this ever happened to you?

This is what I LOVE about New York. You’re walking along, minding your own business, looking DAMN good because you were boy watching at the Knicks game, and BAM, you run into someone from another lifetime ago. Grammar school to be exact… which was a LOOOONG time ago for me.

Now, I wouldn’t love it if I wasn’t all gussied up, but it’s still fun. Plus, what a nice little boost to the ego when the cute boy from school 1. says WOW when he sees you and 2. recognizes you so many years later.
That’s another great thing about New York. You age well when you’re here! Well, I really don’t know if that’s true, but I’d like to believe that.

The same thing actually happened to me about 10 years ago. An old friend that I first met when I was 16 literally ran into me on the street on 7th Ave between 34th & 35th on his roller-blades. We’ve been close friends ever since.

The Knicks game was fun too (always fun in the Suites because the cookies are so damn good!).
Sad that they lost though.

Hey, I will say that I just saw you a few days ago walking down the street where I live. You looked amazing as always and I wanted to say hello.

Its been years and I hope life has been treating you well. I moved to the upper east side. Drop a line. I would love to catch up.
