A must-see photography exhibit

One of my favorite contemporary photographers, Brian Ulrich, has a show up right now at the Julie Saul Gallery (535 West 22nd Street). His trademark photographs of overlit superstores, seedy thrift shops, and sad gun stores are a fascinating commentary on our society. Plus they’re visually gorgeous.

The show is a good excuse to get down to Chelsea, which you KNOW you’ve been meaning to do for the longest time. It runs till February 10.
