Sold Out

I went to watch Pan’s Labyrinth today at the Sunshine Landmark and as I approached the theater got a funny feeling. The feeling you get when you know something is not going to go according to plan. I was right, unfortunately. After waiting the entire week to go watch this movie (one of the only ones I’ve wanted to see this year - or well . . . 2006 was horrible for movies and I’m glad that finally we have a movie in 2007 that’s worth watching), I was denied.

Sold Out until 9:55 pm. Am I silly enough to wait until 9:55 to watch this movie or should I have just gone into Letters From Iwo Jima which had already started its 7:15 show. I heard that was a good movie too, but I really had my heart set on Pan’s Labyrinth. So what did I do? Walked into the place I bought coffee from and decided to eat dinner here.

OOOOO. For those of you into voyeurism, there are a bunch of half-naked men & women working out above the Deli on Allen/Stanton. But since I’ve posted this, how do you not know that I’m watching you watch them. Talk about paper thin walls . . . these suckers are straight see-through. Music reference anyone? I like it…
