As of now, I’m hearing reports that anywhere from 2 to 4 people were killed in the UES plane crash earlier this afternoon.

However, it has been confirmed that Yankees pitcher, Cory Lidle was the sole person aboard the plane - a Cirrus SR-20, that was registered to him.

My prayers go out to their loved ones.

Update - 11:00pm
Actually - they’re corrections.
Turns out Cory was not the sole person aboard the plane. He was flying with his instructor.
Also - the number is confirmed at 2 people that were killed in the accident, the 2 on the plane… not 4.
