Craziest Weekend Since Last Weekend

This is almost too sick to comprehend! All these bands within a two-day period. CHOICE! This Friday, 9/8 you got An Albatross on an early show at the Knitting Factory. Later that night at the Knitting Factory: Comets on Fire (whose new album “Avatar” totally slays). DURING THE SAME NIGHT, the Bronx (!), Converge (!!) and Mastodon (!!!) are tearing shit up at Webster Hall. And just a few blocks downtown, ALSO THE SAME NIGHT, Riddle of Steel (of St. Louis’ Ascetic Records) is playing at Sin-e. Oh, and then when you wake up around 5 p.m. the next day, you’ll have just enough time to get ready and catch the bus to Maxwell’s [side note: this has always been my favorite way to get there, because it stops right outside the club] for PRIESTESS AND RYE COALITION! My brain is exploding as I type.
