Anyone Else Working in the Dark???

Seems as if the city is planning for a blackout.

The Hospital that I work for received word to immediately try and conserve energy. I asked around to see who the notice came from, but no one is talking.

So, right now, I am working at my desk with only the light from my monitor. I’m actually not even working since our Outlook servers are down. I wonder if that’s part of the plan to conserve… seems quite dumb to me. Why don’t they just send our department home! We don’t work with patients and I’m sure everyone is napping anyway.

Is anyone else sitting in the dark?

Not in Dark. Actually, I have all the lights on and have propped open the fridge door. Ahhh… nothing like cold air that smells like sour milk. Summer in the city, gotta love it.
