Locker Room Nudity

I don’t know about anyone else, but nudity runs rampant in men & from what I hear women’s locker rooms in gyms across the city. The very young and the very old - both are just flailing around every which way they please. It’s disturbing to have to avoid direct eye contact with their members and that’s usually preventable, but it’s next to impossible to block yourself from seeing their butts. Why is everyone so goddamned comfortable in these swimming pool locker rooms? Maybe I’ll be one of them at their age? Sigh

    Aren’t locker rooms by definition places where people are nude, at least for part of the time, when they transition from street to workout to shower to street?

    Yes Anna, that’s fine and even then I wear a towel while changing, but I’m talking about just walking around naked . . . sans any thread of clothing on their bodies. For long periods of time, not just while changing, just showering completely naked and roaming freely. For me, it’s weird, but it seems common to most folks there.

    Get it together, man! They’re just naked. The human body is no big deal. A bunch of guys running around naked (in an area designed for the changing of clothes, I might add) shouldn’t offend your delicate sensiblities.

    Now if they’re having sex, that’s a different matter. That kind of activity should be confined to the weight room.

    Hahaha! That was awesome, Scot.

    I understand that the human body is no big deal, it’s just a bit strange to me personally and I’ve always questioned why it happens. But your acceptance of the behavior obviously clarifies that it is a normalcy that I’ll have to get used to.

    i’d have to agree with dhaval on this one. while i’ve no problem changing in front of other people and vice versa, i prefer not to see ALL bits and pieces for an extended period of time. like, please don’t talk to me buck naked while you throw up one leg on the bench and dry yourself off. at least put your underwear on, woman!

    :::shudder:::

    I’m one of those naked people in the locker room and shower. I don’t think that it is a problem. don’t look if you don’t want to..
