I personally think home depot rocks.

I love the variety. most mom and pops dont have the same range and variety and also usually show a lot of attitude when a customer walks in.

In a mom and pop i generally feel that I am interfering in their work rather than being the reason why they work…..

I should add that I UNBELIEVABLY hate Home Depot, but I hate mom and pops who overcharge you under the guise of being a mom and pop even more as if that makes you feel better about it.

I usually hate them because you can go in there at any time of the day and with 200 people on line, one register is open.

Ugh.

One thing you can’t take away from them, though, is that they often have what you want.

If local businesses hadn’t been ass raping customers by charging $9 for a roll of duct tape for years, people would still shop there in spite of the arrival of Home Depot.
