Am I The Only Person Who Didn’t Know?

I went shopping after work to pick up some Spring basics (wishful thinking) and when I checked out the total, I thought I was adding wrong, or getting a freebie.

Nope, everything was fine - NYC just started a year-round state sales tax exemption on April 1. Did anyone else know this?? Was I the last to know??

This is great news! I guess that’s why there wasn’t a big announcement about it.
