Free Coffee Today 10 am - 12 pm
I know exactly where I won’t be tomorrow morning, but I thought I would pass this along–It appears that thousand of Starbucks across the country “…from Seattle to Miami, from Boston to L.A.” will be offering a complimentary Tall coffee (that’s small for those of you not fluent in Starbuckese) to every customer between the hours of 10 am and 12 pm today. No word on whether/what NYC stores are participating but I would imagine plenty will be, so by all means is this information interests you please use it to your advantage. I know I won’t.
Not that I have anything against coffee or even Starbucks for that matter. You can say all you want about local coffee shop charm, supporting small business and taste. The ones I used to like have gone downhill. There aren’t many that can match Starbuck’s consistency and I am a firm believer if you give people a better option that they will take it. There just aren’t many better options. Then again I only drink their espresso, so I don’t know about the rest of it. Last time I had their regular coffee I was pretty unimpressed.
Anyways, I find the lines and crowds at Starbucks on a usual day to be a big pain in the ass, so I can’t see this free coffee giveaway being much fun. But if anyone does attend, please let us know if you were indeed served their “exceptional coffee beans, expertly roasted, perfectly ground, and freshly brewed” and if it is as good as they want you to think it is.

just love the starbucks iv you posted though for me it should be filled with their chai latte (yum). wonder if canada will have its day… or if it’s today… maybe i’ll actually get to try their regular coffee for once!
