Jody Shelton Band Tonight @ Mercury Lounge

jody.jpgYes, the notice is short and the plugging is shameless, but my boyfriend’s freaking amazing group The Jody Shelton Band is playing tonight at 7:30 pm at Mercury Lounge. Yes, I live with and date the guitar player, yes I am friends with all these guys and yes I have been to all of their shows, but this is not just a “come see my boyfriend’s band” type post. This band is amazing, every show gets better and better, they are starting to have a huge following and Mercury Lounge is a great place to see a show. I no longer go to the shows because I have to as a girlfriend; I go as a full fledged, screaming at the top of my lungs groupie. And I’m not the only one. You could be one too. Come check it out!

    I was there to see Jason Collett, but I’m glad we stuck around…you’re right, they were great!
