Info:

Bookcourt
8pm
163 Court Street, Brooklyn
followed by a gathering somewhere.

Wake Up, Sir! is probably the funniest book I’ve ever read this side of A Confederacy of Dunces. My favorite part is when the protagonist, an alocholic writer, gets naked with a sculptor at an artist colony in upstate New York. He exclaims, “I slid my fingers inside her, with respect, like a Jew stepping into a Church.” Cos as we all know: Gentiles + Fingering = Comedic Gold.
