The Monty Book Clvb

Last night was the first meeting of The Monty Book Club. It’s no more than me and a friend pontificating on pages read and passages cherished. We meet at the Campbell Apartment, drink drinks, pick our next book and move on to other topics. The first book was the always engaging existential portrait of absurdity The Stranger by Albert Camus. Next book is Ask the Dust by John Fante. Good books you can finish in a day. You’re more than welcome to pull up a log to the next campfire. I’ll letcha know…

Great choice ask the dust! When you want to say something about it on my literary site (in its new “the village” section), you’re welcome… but it’s for free, sorry! We can’t pay critics!
