Ice is Back with a Brand New Edition

Shut up, commuters!I wish a blizzard would just bury this city already.

I am so sick of how terribly inconvenienced everyone is by a little bit of snow. Of course, that’s easy for someone who’s unemployed (like me!) to say, but for real, y’all. Leave the snow on the ground. Everyone take some time out, eat some cupcakes, make a snowman or two, and just chill.

Most of the snow that fell this morning was gone within in a couple of hours, and any chance for people to stop and enjoy themselves, on a Friday no less, was lost and gone forever.

I really hate this time of year. It’s so needlessly stressful for everyone. Holiday shopping, deadlines, snow shovelers fighting over sidewalk boundaries. I’ve even caught my cat sipping from his little flask to take the edge off.

So, everyone: Just cool it! Literally. ‘Tis the season for getting fat and having lots of stuck-indoors sex. Let’s get with the program!

I would kill for snow right now. In LA we only get the plastic variety… I can’t wait to go back east. I may actually shovel this year as a tribute to the fluffy stuff.

Well, one of the reasons I moved from LA to New York was to live in a place with actual seasons. But, the calm that a nice snow storm should bring to people is completely lost here, because it’s always crunch time and snow slows things down.
