That Time of the Month Again

Yes, my MetroCard expired again. Aside from generally not trying to litter, I could never be one of those people who carelessly drops their card on the platform or leaves in on the turnstile.

As silly as it may be, the new card is a time of contemplation for me. The new, stiff card passes through the reader with a satisfying click and I’m through the turnstile without the dreaded beep and “Please swipe again message” so common with my softer, worn-in card.     woot woot for the monthly. what a lifesaver. i learned to put it on my $500 limit credit card (the only one i own) so i never feel that bad buying a new one when the old one runs out.
