my former roommate and i, while out apartment hunting, came upon a place, pretty much right underneath the BQE, with a chicken slaughtering house next door, that we pretty much just ran away from. we RAN AWAY from an APARTMENT.

Awesome story. Where in Williamsburg was this? Have you noticed that Williamsburg just keeps getting bigger and bigger, extending into Greenpoint, Bed Stuy, Navy Yard and Bushwick which are all now considered “Williamsburg” in Real Estate listings? Crazy shit yo.

Place was on Kent Ave and 4th. About four blocks from Bedford yes, but close enough to the piers to accomidate stiir-crazy suicide. Location, Location, Location. By the way, Dana, I have to agree on the sudden broad definition of Willy-B. I think Park Slope falls into the neighborhood if you ask a realtor.
