Freedom Tower?

2005_06_freedomtowerphotoop.jpg

I know this news is a couple days old but it just now occurred to me, yes I’m slow, that this Freedom Tower should actually be called Freedom Penis. Especially in the above photo, it emanates all its phallic qualities.

From what I hear, this lil’ island was attacked by some “terrorists” several years ago and now after lots of bureaucratic mini-penis fights, the people in charge (guess what? all men!) finally agreed to thrust a big bad erect one into the center of the wound.

So, there you have it, men and their toys. (Except that this toy costs some taxpayers some money.)

Would that make the spire an awkward Prince Albert?

Firstly, the new Freedom Tower is a dickslap to bespectacled pimp Mr.Libeskind, thrown together without any aesthetic consideration. Unoriginal and disappointing.

Secondly, the Freedom Tower may resemble a cock, but the reflection pools at its base? Hmm

If it were a Prince Albert it would be at an angle. It’s also neither an Apadravya or an Amphallang, cause it sticks straight up and out the top. Yes I know WAY too much about male genital piercing.

the spire is the freedome tower’s first spurts of excitement. the freedom tower is so STRAIGHT, it spurts STRAIGHT.

michael, did you mean reflection pools or miniature ball sacks?

dana, so you like it kinky?

Yes, but that’s besides the point. Really I just dated a piercer back in the day so I got to see them all…over and over again…actually be pierced. And I have one word–ouch!

I am waiting for Melissa to chime in here…

i got one piercing that nobody notices. it was done one weekday during my senior year of high school, while i was ditching (oh my!) school to drive to VENICE, CA. i got my “rook” pierced, which, if you don’t know (unlike fao schwartz) is this strange piece of your ear cartilage. only recently (years after having gotten it pierced) have i been able to unscrew the jewelry. it didn’t hurt that much, it just crunched.

Haha! Anna you are my hero!

I have the “daith” in one of my ears pierced and it was super painful and took almost a year to heal, unlike some of the other more delicate piercing I have had done. I’m not ever taking it out–I went through too much to get it. And of course no one notices it.

FYI–If you are lost, I found a good diagram of types of ear piercings here: http://www.piercings.net/glossary/images/ear004lg.jpg
