Happy Summer

I’m always on the lookout for the free things to do around the city… I spend enough on other things.

In my quest to keep a little money in my pocket, I found the New York Summer Freebie Calendar on newyorkmetro.com. The calendar started on Memorial Day weekend, but they show events going on though August.

The list includes the outdoor movies at Bryant Park, Hudson River Park and Hoboken, readings, concerts, dance shows

free movies rule. I went to the first Bryant Park screening on Monday night. The Way We Were. It was incredibly crowded. My boyfriend spilled red wine three times but it was wayyyy fun. Especially when we got drunk and the movie started.

    Recommend!

I really would love to go to one of the Monday night movies at Bryant Park, but I don’t know if I could handle the crowd.

I’m a HUGE Cary Grant fan, so I may just deal with the crowd and see “Suspicion” on the 25th.

apparently, the crowds simmer down after the first time. it’s still gonna be full but not as full. i would go, it’s a blast.
