“Gaze upon me with your hostile, bespectacled eyes again”

Damn, have I ever said how much I love Missed Connections on Craiglist? If not, well…check out this winner and see why…

I saw you on the LIRR comming back from the Pixies concert. You had a blue striped shirt on and glasses and were reading a book. You had that adorably hostile look I love in boys with glasses who are very serious. I also had glasses, was wearing a pink tank top, had an enormous yellow bag and was really sweaty. Gaze upon me with your hostile, bespectacled eyes again.

can we assume that dude gazed at her with hostility because she was sweaty or because he could sense that she was going to put up a missed connections on craigslist?

I was assuming he gazed at her with hostily because he didn’t know who LCD Soundsystem was, cause Interpol was too wasted to hold their instruments, and cause he realized the Pixies were just going throught the motions to make some cash (I didn’t see it, but that’s what I heard) but I prefer not to know the real reason and to just leave it up the imagination.

Yeah, I’m not a big fan of outdoor/stadium shows, as the sound usually sucks big time. Honestly I would rather listen to my old Pixies albums then see them get back together in a half-assed fashion. All the feedback I heard was that the show was “eh”. Anyone out there see it and care to comment?
