my boss is taking that week off for the exact purpose of fleeing the city due to the mayhem the convention will supposedly cause. i will be left to manage the office by myself. and, really, i have no idea what to expect. i ride my bike to and from work, so i am not sure if my commute will be affected, or if avoiding the subways is a good thing. 
bah! why here?! why now?! and why has the media managed again to successfully get me all worked up. damnit!</description>
