What does Normandy have to do with the price of fish, markie? Excuse us for needing to distinguish between protecting "this country" and protecting Dick goddamn Cheney's oil interests, but a war entered into under false pretenses is not in fact its own reward, and I suspect the families of those killed both in Iraq and on September 11 would agree.

I think it's totally appropriate to have these signs in front of the WTC memorial. We mourn the loss of thousands of Americans when we look at images of the WTC (or the site itself), yet we continue to allow American and Iraqi soldiers and civilians to be slaughtered on Iraqi soil. It's time to stop being hypocritical.

Misguided? Really? Where are those WMD? Where's that proof that Iraq had *anything* to do with 9/11? Where's Osama? Sounds more like people are losing their lives right this minute (more than 900 so far) due to some misguided rhetoric, and I think the only respectful thing to do is not let any more of them die.

Fools! Can you be anymore disrespectful to the poor souls that lost their lives at Ground Zero than to preach uninformed,mis-guided anti-war rhetoric at the site that compells us to take the action that we took?? I think not.
Better yet, lets move forward with the peacenik movement and become the whipping boys to every nation and despot that considers America evil for being a land of Free Choice and success.
