It’s true — I do love a fog machine.

Just received this flyer from my lovely and talented sib:
“Our House:
House Party, Club System
No bullshit.
OPEN BAR ALL NIGHT AND WE’RE NOT KIDDING.
We’ve never run out. Hard liquor, mixers and beer. All night. $15/ person at the door.
COME TO DANCE AND NOT DEAL WITH FASHIONISTA FUCKERS.
Wear short-shorts and a beenie if you want. Or maybe only socks. We don’t give a fuck. We just want you there. Just be prepared to sweat a lot and dance your ass off.
HEAR MUSIC IN WAYS YOU NEVER THOUGHT POSSIBLE.
Our sound system will make you dance so hard your ass will be bouncing off the floor.
Look, just come and dance and have fun and get drunk—we’re going from ten till question mark. Bring your sneaks and sweats but not your fucking attitude. Save that for the office.

$15 - drink all night, fuckers
138 south 4th
on the right behind the parking lot.
Outdoor “conversation area”
Custom SBS sound system
Intelligent Lighting system
Amazing people - Hilarious antics
Plus: A fog machine! Everybody loves a fucking fog machine!
ARTISTS:
Licious & Palmero (Lester Fresh Records)
Great Pets (Aphasia + SSG, INYC)
Matt Busch (Imago, INYC)”
I can vouch for the hilarious antics and the asses bouncing on/off the floor. My most piquant memory of this venue involves a pour Red-Bulled soul attempting some Farmer Ted from “Sixteen Candles” splits action on the dance floor (note use of the word “attempting”).
Anyway. My bro Licious is spinning, and it’s in Williamsburg but it’s Not That Kind Of An Evening, so if you’re restless and you like good beats, go check it out.
